TOALC Fall 2026 Registration Issues, Class Changes, and Closures

All updates thru 8/17 are reflected in the online course book, updated 8/17/2026.

General Warning Note (Added 8/13/2026)

We still have a bug in the new Registration form: When you add your list of desired class codes, please make sure that the total length is no more than 83 characters including spaces. If it is longer than 83 characters, your submission will not be saved! If you have a long list of desired classes, break it up into several shorter registration submissions. I have modified the form so that it will not allow submissions of course codes totally more than 83 characters. You will get a message saying that your submission has more than 83 characters. Or you may get a message that the form could not be submitted and to try again later.

It turns out that our WIX system doesn't discard registration submissions or more than 83 characters-worth of class code selections. It puts them in a SPAM folder from which I can rescue them!

8/13/2026	LD.	Lyricist Dorothy Fields' Life and Songs	The class is listed as a one-day class on Friday Sept. 25 from 1:30 - 3:30. We've added a second session at the same weekday and time on Friday, Oct 2.
8/13/2026	TH.	Texas Hold 'Em	Classes will start on Sept. 24. No class on Sept 17.
