Course Book Availability

The Summer Course Book was mailed on Wednesday, April 15. It is also available for download on the Courses page of the TOALC website at: https://www.theoalc.org/catalog.

A Note on the "Black Box" and Making Space for Everyone

You may have noticed the "Black Box" warning below the fold of the mailing address space of your course book. While the language is formal, the goal is simple: fairness.

We know life happens—appointments run over, and plans change. We aren't interested in policing your schedule or requiring "doctor's notes." However, we are very concerned that early registrants often snap up seats that later go unused, while others remain stuck on a waitlist.

Why this matters: Participation at TOALC is entirely voluntary, and how you spend your time is your business. But when a seat sits empty while a fellow member is waiting for a spot, it affects the whole community.

If you realize a course isn't a fit for you, please just give the office a quick heads-up. It helps us keep our classrooms full and our waitlists moving!

Important Summer Trimester Dates

Summer Registration Deadline	Wednesday, May 13, 2026	Submit your registration by this date to ensure timely preparation of rosters and class materials.
Late Registration	Starts Thursday, May 14, 2026	We continue to accept registrations throughout the summer session. Please submit late registrations directly to the TOALC office to confirm current class availability.
Summer Kickoff Meeting & Potluck	Sunday, May 17, 2026	2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church (55 Smith St., East Stroudsburg, PA). Meet class leaders and hear about the summer courses.
First Day of Classes	Monday, May 18, 2026
Memorial Day	Monday, May 25, 2026	No classes today. The office will be closed.
Last Day of Classes	Friday, July 17, 2026
